Computer center
Computer centre has latest configuration desktop PCs on network controlled by server. Also the operating systems like Linux, Windows etc., and various application software and database management system are available. The computer centre has the central power back up and will remain available to students at least 12-14 hours every day. This facility will cater to the need of all students & help them learn developing innovative program/software when they are young. The computer centre also has the high speed internet connection for the students. Campus has 3 Mbps internet facility. All laboratories, faculty room, other section & hostels have Wi-Fi enabled internet facilities.
Library
The learning and resource center (Library) is the hub of all intellectual and academics. The library has a large pool of resources. Besides periodicals and references we keep the students up-to-date with the latest through the digital library that includes CDs, audio-visual, internet section.
Audio-Visual Center
Our Institute has a fully air-conditioned AV centre for lectures, seminars and demonstration by the regular and visiting faculty members with all modern communication aids like Overhead projectors, Slide projectors, Wide screen TV’s, Video representation and central audio system for quick and better assimilation by students. Seminars on a variety of subjects are organized by a blend of experienced and new generation highly talented faculty members.
Information Technology
All the major research laboratories, faculty rooms, administration library, animal house, seminar hall, lecture theatres, auditorium, guest house, etc. are connected by LAN and internet connections. This center provides a variety of services to the students in literature search, computation and graphics. Major software packages available: Windows, Nortan Antivirus etc. Networking of entire MKD campus. Fifty more network nodes have been installed in the MKD campus.
Language Lab For Improving English Communication Skills
English language communication skills labs play a pivotal role in the developing communication skills among the students of engineering. Students from various cultures feel hard to learn English and its proficiency. The thirst of English language learning needs some solution. Academics grades indicate that quality of classes, professors, and the overall Academic environment. Grades are based on student’s ratings of their professors in the following criteria: accessibility, communication skills, general knowledge, interest in class subjects, interest is students, and time spent in the classroom. Student ratings for the Colleges’s academic environment are based on the following criteria: academic advisors, class availability, consistency in grading, course subject variety, curriculum flexibility, gen-ed requirements, manageability or workload, online course options, scheduling & registration, technology in the classroom, use of teaching assistants (TAs), and quality of TAs. Open-ended student reviews of specific majors and academics in general are scored based on the grade that the respondent attributed to their review.
Sport Facilities
Institute has a sports department which organises sports activities with in the institute and without. Outdoor games like Volyball, Cricket, Badminton etc are complimented by indoor games like Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis etc. The students of HIPER organise seminars festivals, workshops, cultural activities etc. under the aegis of MKD Society. New students also get a chance to integrate with existing students to make a healthy and creative ambience in the campus.
Education Tour
Annual Educational Tour is arranged by the college in which both the male and female students participate with the
help of the escort comprising of male and female teacher.
Art & Craft Lab
The Art and Craft lab is a place where learners can express their artistic views and can develop their imagination power. Students can also build a personality of positive thinking with proper attitude. This lab is the place of experiments with creativity. Here various types of activities related to art and craft such as waste material utilization, painting, printing, pot decoration, flower arrangement, candle making, LTM etc. have conducted. Our hugely experienced expert teachers heartily help the learners to show their talent.
Extra Coaching For Needy Students
In addition to normal class, extra classes are also taken for the needy and weak students.
Psychology Lab
The Main Purposes or objectives of Psychology Laboratory are:
1. To enable the students to understand way of conducting psychological experiments.
2. To give practical experiences to B.Ed. students teachers in regard to some of the psychological concepts and principles.
3. To enable the B.Ed. students to apply scientific method for the solution of psychological problems in psychological laboratory.
4. To give B.Ed. students living experience in regard in the conducting of psychological experiences in their class room situation in future.
5. To apply the knowledge of various psychological experiments and tests in school situations.
6. To apply the psychological tests in during research work.
